Bondi Lane Service & Booking Policy
Pricing valid from May 2025

  • Colour Correction & Transformations: Pricing for colour correction and major hair transformations will be quoted in person following a consultation only.

  • Starting Prices: All colour service prices are starting points and may vary based on individual hair type, existing condition, and product availability.

  • Blow-Dry Requirement: All colour services require a blow-dry finish to ensure the quality of our work and your satisfaction.

  • Toners: All foil and balayage services require a toner, which is charged in addition to the base lightening price.

  • Style Cuts: All style cuts include a shampoo and blow-dry finish to ensure quality results and client happiness. A "cut only" service is not available.

  • Booking Deposits: A $50 or $100 deposit is required for all appointments, based on the length of the booked service. We require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or changes to appointments. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will result in a forfeit of your booking deposit or a cancellation fee being applied. Repeated missed appointments may impact future bookings.

  • Additional Product Charges: Extra product used beyond the standard application (measured per 30g bowl) due to hair length or density will incur additional charges.

  • Custom Services: For any variation of listed colour services, a tailored quote will be provided during your appointment.

  • Upfront Quotes: All services are quoted at the start of your appointment.

  • Colour Consultations: A complimentary 15-minute consultation is available prior to your appointment. If additional consultation time is required on the day, we reserve the right to:
    a) Offer an alternative appointment on another day better suited to your needs
    b) Recommend a separate style consultation ($60 per 30 minutes)
    c) Adjust or reduce the services provided on the day, based on remaining appointment time

  • Appointment Confirmations: Bondi Lane reserves the right to cancel any non-confirmed appointments following the automated 48-hour confirmation text or if a booking deposit has not been received.

  • Late Arrival Policy: If you arrive late, your appointment may be shortened to avoid disrupting following clients. In this case, we’ll do our best to complete your service in the remaining time, or recommend an alternative appointment if needed.

  • Redo Policy: If you are not fully satisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days so we can assess and offer any necessary adjustments. Redo services are offered at the salon’s discretion and do not apply to a change of mind or self inflicted changes after your visit.

  • Sickness Policy: If you are unwell or experiencing cold, flu, or viral symptoms, we kindly ask that you reschedule your appointment. Attending while sick may result in your service being declined on arrival to protect the wellbeing of our team and other clients. We appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice wherever possible so your appointment time can be offered to someone else.

  • Head Lice Policy: For the health and hygiene of all clients and staff, if head lice or nits are detected during your appointment, the service will be immediately paused and your appointment rescheduled no sooner than 7 days later. We kindly request that two lice treatments be completed within that time to ensure the issue is fully resolved

  • Allergy Testing: If you’re new to colour services at Bondi Lane or trying a new formula or service, we may recommend a patch test at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. This is to ensure your safety and minimise risk of allergic reaction.

  • Hair History Honesty: To achieve the best possible results, it is essential that you provide a complete and accurate history of your hair. This includes all previous colour work (both at-home and professional), chemical treatments, and any major health changes within the past two to three years. If important details are not disclosed, this may affect the outcome of your service. In some cases, we may need to reschedule your appointment to prioritise the health of your hair and the quality of your result.
